On my task list this year is to learn more about digital media assignments as a form of assessment. I’ve been playing around with them and can think of a few places where I’d like to use them. But, the trick is not to use them just because it seems cool. So what can be gained by replacing specific assessments (essays, reports etc) with forms of  digital media assessment?
